Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy (Dr. AVGR) is a renowned orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement. He has 25 years of professional experience, including 10 in England. Each year, he performs around 4000 joint replacements, making him Asia's second-largest surgeon in terms of volume. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Hyderabad-based Sunshine Hospitals. With the goal of bringing technological advances and innovation in his field of expertise, he launched Sunshine Bone and Joint Institute, Sunshine Medical Academy of Research and Training (SMART), Sunshine Orthrobotics, and numerous other initiatives within Sunshine Hospitals.

After a long and satisfying endeavor of leading Sunshine Hospitals to the forefront of healthcare for over a decade, Dr. AVGR felt it's time for him to contribute to society in another way. ‘Sarvejana Foundation’ is an initiative that attempts to bring about an enduring difference in the lives of as many people as possible. HAPPYKNEES, SHARE and STOP verticals make up the foundation's core.

Dr. AVGR, in many years of his professional experience, has seen many women suffering and disabled with knee-related issues stepping back without opting for surgery. An in-depth follow-up has led to two significant reasons.
